Island Hopping – Koh Madsum, Koh Tan & Koh Rap
In the idyllic South of Koh Samui, you will find a few small offshore islands and for some years now Koh Madsum has not only made a name for itself with its fine, powdery white sand beach and crystal clear water, but it is the animals that inhabitants that attract the attention of the tourists.
Several Malaysian pot-bellied pigs live on the island, from piglets to huge adult pigs, and these are happy to be fed and can be photographed with you on the beach. On this tour, we visit Pig Island early in the morning to avoid the crowds of tourists and then head to Koh Tan for some snorkelling.
It’s a small reef and you can’t compare the underwater life to the diving island of Koh Tao, but there are some interesting underwater creatures to admire. Koh Rap is the smallest of the islands visited, but it has a stunning beach, clear waters and hammocks that invite you to dream and swings are there for the perfect Insta photo.
Fresh fruit and snacks ensure nobody gets too hungry on this half-day tour.
